  18. ‚Ä¢ Open paths have two endpoints (shown as "X"s when the path is selected)
  19. ‚Ä¢ To close a path while drawing, click the pen on the first point of the path.
  20. ‚Ä¢ This is now a closed path and can be filled correctly with the Paint menu item.
  21. ‚Ä¢ Note that if the path is selected with the Selection tool, there are no endpoints 
  22. (no "X"s). This shows you that the path is closed.
  23. ‚Ä¢ Once a path is closed, you can start a new path without having to unselect the last path... AI will not draw a line between a closed path and any new path you start.
  24. ‚Ä¢ To close a path you have already drawn, select one endpoint, click on it with the Pen tool, then click on the other endpoint.
